Tsukusu Gin contains 13 main botanicals and 11 other types, a Gin infused with a total of 24 botanicals. The Gin goes through two distillations in a process designed to “exhaust” the botanicals of their essence. The first distillation process is to infuse with low-alcohol shochu-based spirit and 13 botanicals, then the second distillation process is to infuse with high-alcohol shochu spirit and an additional 11 botanicals. In post distillation, the Gin is matured for 30 days in a tank features a layer of volcanic rock from Sakurajima.
