The Japanese Craft Gin “Tsukusu” was created by Nishi Shuzo, a well-known Shochu maker tracking back to 1845, with about 170 years of distilling experience in Kagoshima which is the birthplace of distillation in Japan. The name 尽くす (“Tsukusu”) is a Japanese verb that means “to devote” or “to exhaust,” depending on the context.
